General Meeting Notice December 2024
General Meeting for Members on Thursday 12th December at 20:30hrs
Please save the date for a General Meeting on Thursday 12th December to be held at the club at 8.30pm. This meeting is primarily an opportunity to meet with the Board to review our progress as a Club in 2024, to discuss our priorities for 2025 and to offer an update on Padel tennis at the club. We will also receive the accounts from the previous year and appoint the club's accountants for the coming year. These two items will be voted on by the members attending the meeting, with the requisite notice served.
We have split our annual meetings into two, with the December meeting to cover the items above plus a Report of Rugby. A second AGM meeting in May oversees the election of the Elected Directors of the board for the coming year, appoints Life Members, and receives a report of the sporting activities of the Club since the previous general meeting.
We look forward to a progressive and collaborative discussion around the direction of travel for our Club. The General Meeting is also a time for the club to come together and explore volunteer opportunities. There are a number of roles that require support moving forward. Please speak to a Board member if you can donate some of your time and energy to the club or if you would like to understand what roles need support.'
