We’re pleased to announce that Guildford Rugby has just completed a re-fresh of the club’s brand identity, which provides guidance on how the club crest and colours should be used.
The consistent branding of kit across all sections and age groups is really important. Guildford Rugby is one of the best-known grass-roots clubs across South-East England, and over the course of a season our teams travel far and wide to take part in cup matches, festivals and end-of-season tours.
It is essential, therefore, that our kit, no matter what team we play for or support, is aligned with the correct colouring, design and logos.
We have produced the guidelines that must be adopted for any kit or clothing, sporting or casual, that is used where Guildford Rugby is represented. This also applies to printed material and branded items.
To ensure the consistency, the design of anything produced by individual age groups or sections of the club must be signed off by the Club’s Commercial Director. This is particularly important when sponsors’ logos are being incorporated into the design and must be agreed before any kit, clothing or branded items are ordered.
Our current kit supplier is Akuma, who are fully aware of the colouring and designs to be used. We have a dedicated client manager who should be the point of contact used for ordering any new kit. Their contact details will be provided as needed.
