Check Out The Construction Works At The Club Starting In January 2026
Highways Agency – A3100 Guildford Road
Works will commence on 5th January 2026 and continue until April 2026. These works will take place on the A3100 Guildford Road and towards Meadrow.
The contractors will be using our grounds to store equipment between the containers on the Northfield. Works will be undertaken between 8.00am and 4.00pm, and traffic control lights will be in operation. There will also be some overnight road closures, which will be clearly signed in advance. No works are planned at weekends.
Please note that the first overnight road closure is scheduled from Wednesday 18th February 2026 to Friday 20 February 2026.
Daniel Lake (Sponsor)
From 5th January 2026, works will commence by the Northfield gate on the pedestrian footpath from the main car park by the gates.
Padel Xtra
From 6th January 2026, works will commence by Padel Xtra, with completion anticipated by May/June 2026. No works are planned at weekends. All works will be undertaken within a secure, compounded area; however, large machinery and parts of the court building construction will occasionally be brought on and off site.
There should be no impact on the main car parking area. However, access to the rear of the Clubhouse (turning right from the men’s changing room exit) will be blocked by the construction compound perimeter. To mitigate this, we will relocate the Senior Rugby container to maintain access. The Scrumptious and Vanilla Beans storage containers will also be moved.
In all cases we will try and minimise any disruption to the normal running of the Club facilities – however please also be patience whilst these projects are ongoing.
