Minis stay-at-home tour
Last weekend saw over 100 families descend on the club for the 2022 minis ‘tour’. This year, instead of piling onto coaches and setting off to clubs elsewhere in the country, we stayed much more local – setting up a camping village around our very own pitches!
Our superhero-themed tour started with a fantastic kids and adults fancy dress competition; included an afternoon of team entertainment; some evening movies (and drinks for the parents!) in the clubhouse; and ended with some very competitive touch/tag rugby games to clear heads on the Sunday morning.
We’ve had great feedback on the amazing food provided, the novelty of camping out at the club, and the creativity in finding a different way to get the tour spirit when it wasn’t as easy for teams to travel.
